Really enjoyed my first visit here. Hotpot is great, service is nice and foods are fresh. Beyond those, they got a machine to get rid of the hotpot smell on your clothes. Amazing!!!

This place hit the spot after walking around in the rain all day and was conveniently located across the street from our hotel. We had the pork bone broth and the sweet and sour tomato broth. Both so delicious! We had the prime rib, chicken leg, and lamb shoulder for our meats. The fresh coconut water was so refreshing as well. Would definitely eat here again next time I am in Midtown Manhattan.

Surprised to find real duck blood here which I couldn’t even find in Hong Kong. Very tender I highly recommend. The other ingredients are also fresh and are of better quality of the other hotpot spots I went in nyc. Watermelon juice has a slightly weird taste so I didn’t finish after a few sips. Service was very attentive. The restaurant is also quite spacious and not as crammed as the other hotpot places. Overall I recommend this place and it’s the best hotpot that I’ve been in nyc so far. I’d return if I crave for hotpot.

If you're craving something spicy and fun, Mala Hot Pot in New York is definitely worth a visit. It’s the perfect spot if you love customizing your meal and having a bit of an interactive experience. The concept is super simple: you choose your broth (the mala broth is a must-try if you like a good kick of spice) and then pick from a ton of meats, veggies, and noodles to cook in your bubbling hot pot. The mala broth is rich with spice and a numbing heat that’s just the right balance—it’s got a serious punch but isn't overwhelming. One thing that really stood out for me was the Kobe beef slices. They were insanely tender, and when they hit the broth, they practically melt in your mouth. It’s the kind of beef that makes every bite feel extra special. I also loved the tofu skin, which soaks up the broth and adds a great texture to the mix. The vibe is relaxed and fun, and the staff is super friendly. If you’ve never done hot pot before, they’ll walk you through the process and help you pick ingredients based on your spice tolerance (which is great if you’re not sure how hot you want to go). Yes, it can get a little messy, but that’s part of the experience. It’s a great way to hang out with friends, share a meal, and get a little adventurous with your spice levels. All in all, Mala Hot Pot is a great place to dive into the world of hot pot. It’s flavorful, fresh, and a blast to eat. If you're in the mood for something that’s both fun and satisfying, definitely check it out!

This is now my second favorite hot pot spot. (Haidilao 1st, lol) I found this place by walking past it, and the strong aroma of spices immediately pulled me in. The broth tastes just as good as it smells. The tomato soup was especially flavorful, sweet, and comforting. Good quality with reasonable price! The servers were also very attentive, quickly refilling water and soup without being asked.

This was the first time we have done Hot Pot and it was amazing. Food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Service: Fantastic, very attentive and gave up some helpful tips. Food: So fresh and a good variety of things on the menu. We had the pork broth and spicy beef broth. When it said spicy, it was pretty spicy. We ordered pork belly, sirloin and scallops. The person who dropped off the scallops helpfully told us a rough time estimate for cooking which helped. I had one of the special cocktails off the menu (whiskey, cucumber) and it was so refreshing with the spicy broth. At the end of the meal, they even had a custard and ice cream for my daughter's birthday! Overall, this was such a great place to grab some Hot Pot and relax for a bit.

I love hot potand this was my first time visiting this restaurant. I had the yuan-yang pot with tomato and mildly spicy beef tallow broth — the base was absolutely amazing! All the ingredients were super fresh and tasted delicious after cooking. The beef tongue was especially tender, not tough at all. They also offer a wide variety of dipping sauces. I highly recommend the crispy fried pork and the cucumber salad as side dishes. And the watermelon juice paired perfectly with the hot pot — such a refreshing combo for summer!
